Lymphoma Chemotherapy Fund for Luna
Donation protected

Update 3/1/2022: The estimated Oncologists cost is around 10-12K. The first bill for today is around $2,500. Luna’s right side of face is swollen. Max is worried her throat would be swollen and she wouldn’t be able to breathe.
Max's dog Luna is an 8-year old German Shepherd. Max is a professional dog walker in San Francisco ( pack photos @outtt_n_abouttt), and Luna has been Max's constant companion for the past eight years. They have explored every inch of the Bay Area, swum and paddle-boarded in the Pacific Ocean, and eaten their meals together for eight beautiful years. As the leader of Max's walking pack, she has helped countless dogs overcome traumatic experiences and develop obedience and social skills. Luna is a critical part of Max's life and a friend and teacher to many others.

On Sunday, February 27, Max discovered masses on Luna’s body and immediately took her to the SF SPCA. The veterinarian determined that the masses are likely lymphoma, and said that Luna has at most a few months to live without chemotherapy treatments. With chemotherapy, it may be possible to extend Luna’s life for another few months. The pack is devastated beyond belief and cannot bear the thought of losing Luna. We want to do everything we can to treat her lymphoma and enable her to live longer, if only for a few months.
The SPCA told Max that Luna’s chemotherapy treatment can be expected to cost between $400-$600 per session, and that the total costs of her chemotherapy could be at least a couple thousand dollars. Unfortunately, we have no other option at this point but to ask for help with the cost, and every day is critical to halting the spread of Luna’s lymphoma and giving her a longer lifespan.
We are extremely grateful for any help that you can provide.
Thank you.
