For those that don’t know me, my name is Misti Bryan and for those that do MY TIME IS HERE Y’ALL! I am blessed to say that I am fundraising for my Lymphedema surgery. This has been a debilitating disease for myself for 29 years and others as well. There is no cure but there is treatment. I have exhausted all other treatments for my disease that is non surgical, however, the next step in my treatment plan is surgery.

The surgery is called “debulking surgery”. In layman’s terms,this surgery will remove all of the fibrotic, heavy tissue caused by lymphedema. This will be absolutely be life changing for me. It will help with my mobility, pain, and I will also be able to keep my disease under control better.

I was blessed with a DIVINE appointment back in December of 2023 to the Mayo Clinic In Rochester, Minnesota with Dr Nho. Tran. This trip was a blessing ALL THE WAY AROUND, you should ask me about it sometime because I wanna tell you how awesome my GOD IS!

I WAS APPROVED FOR SURGERY!! Unfortunately this surgery will not be a one and done thing. I will have my first procedure, come home, heal up, and then 3-6 months later I will return to Mayo Clinic for then next stage of my lymphedema plan. I will be looking at multiple surgeries on FOUR different parts of my legs. The multiple surgeries are done so that I can heal faster, safer, and without complications. As some of you know I have lymphedema in both legs so I have a long ways to go before I will be done with surgery….BUT GOD!

I am scheduled for my first surgery on April 30th, 2024. I will be in Rochester for a few days each time I have to return.

All funds will be used for Medical bills and travel expenses.
