Leya is the most sweetest, kind hearted, bubbly Gal Pal that honestly brightens the room just by being in it, she’s a breath of fresh air and has been our sunshine in darkness..

Leya would do anything she could to help someone else in need as that’s just the sort of person she is.

such a “taboo” disease that is very real and honestly turned out friends world upside down.. going from the army where she served for our country to owning her own successful business, Onyx Cafe in newcastle. Loving and living life to now struggling to get through each day..

Leya has suffered with Lymes disease for 5 years now and it only seems to be getting worse and she’s at breaking point and has had enough of her own body torturing her day in day out.

she’s given up so much already to this disease.

her business, her passions, her relationship, her freedom and quality time with her family and friends just to name a few

she now fights through her pain just to work a few hours a week just to get by and doesn’t know where she would be without her mothers love and support and being her silent carer when shes needed it.

Leya has spent so much money on numerous health care avenues in Australia that are not known to cure Lymes disease but the only options she had as the Australian government refuse to acknowledge this debilitating disease caused by ticks, mind you Leya was bitten in NEWCASTLE right here in our own backyards… she has no help from our government for treatment and would need to travel to GERMANY with a carer where she can undergo treatment.

return flights to Germany for Leya and a carer $4000

other expenses such as car hire, groceries and unexpected costs should they arise $5000.
