You helped save my Max’ life, for which I am forever grateful! Now it’s my reluctant turn to request help paying for Lyme testing.

I have had chronic Lyme (and multiple co-infections) for 60 years, since being bitten while doing volunteer work in Appalachia at age 18. Now I must get re-tested for new tick-borne infections (TBI). This testing costs $1,300 out of pocket. (Medicare would pay if an MD ordered it, but the many MDs I’ve asked have refused to sign off.)

I am very sick and can barely function. Can’t remember how to put words together, or drive, or feed Max (don’t worry; he is ok). Can’t recall what I said or thought 5 seconds ago. Recent frequent flyer at the ER for confusion, expressive aphasia, and soaring blood pressure. No help there. Bed-bound for weeks.

My ND (Naturopath who had helped get previous lyme into remission) strongly believes I have new TBIs.
