Lyle needs new landing gear!

Recently my pal and former roommate Lyle got run off the road by a typical Texan driver. It nearly took his right foot off, and left him with compound fractures at the bottom end of his Tibia and Fibula! The calcium supplements and medication cost him $400 plus other surprise out of pocket expenses like copay on Physical Therapy and mobility equipment rentals.

He and his roommate (my other pal Noga), really need your help to afford this THREE MONTH LONG recovery window before Lyle can even walk 'normally' again! We're talking, those bones got screws and pins and I think even a plate in them! This is the kind of injury where he just about lost his entire foot, and he's in a lot of pain. Anything would help immensely here, all proceeds go directly into Noga's bank account to help them pay for rent and other things.

Lyle's technically got some income from SSDI but it's not nearly enough to handle urgent and severe medical expenses like this. He's an extremely hard worker, and was driving for food delivery services (ubereats, etc) when the accident happened. It looks unlikely that they'll find the perpetrator, since it seems whoever ran him off the road was a college kid speeding through town on their way to their Spring Break destination.
