Last November, my girlfriend and I moved from South Korea to Hawaii. Kumi, my girlfriend's beloved dog, was supposed to come with us. Just as we were preparing to leave, we found out that my girlfriend's boss would not be paying her final paycheck. As a result, we were forced to leave Kumi with a "friend" until we could save up for Kumi to join us at a later date.

Last week Saturday we discovered that our "friend", who we had paid to care for Kumi, brought Kumi to the shelter. Now we are scrambling to save Kumi.

Kumi literally saved my girlfriend's life. I owe Kumi a great deal. My girlfriend just recently got out of the hospital and I would do anything to reunite them. Any help would be appreciated.



We are going to be using the money to pay for Kumi's flight. The pet courier is quoting us at $800 plus additional fees for transportation. We will also be using the money to pay for Kumi's quarantine in Hawaii, which will cost $1080. Anything that is left over will be going toward any vet bills that Kumi may require. Anything else will go to the Humane Society.
