Hi everyone. Thanks for taking the time to read what this fundraiser is about. My friend first survived an abusive relationship but lost her eye. She did manage to get a prosthetic, and then not too long ago was in a terrible car wreck. She woke up in the hospital without her prosthesis and really needs a hand to get a replacement. Lydia is one of the kindest thoughtful people I know and I mean that. She serves the community by helping women recovering from drug addiction at a local rehabilitation center. In her current state, without her prosthesis,her self esteem is dwindling, small children are afraid of her and when she looks in the mirror she can't help but suffer from PTSD of her past experience of being abused, the ultimate reason she lost her eye. I am posting a picture of her before she lost it, and now without her prosthesis. The profile pic of this fundraiser is her recovering from the domestic violence.
