Lydia's Medical Emergency Fund

As most of you know, about two weeks ago, Lydia suffered a fall, broke her hip in two places, and underwent surgery. She has been discharged from the hospital and is currently receiving therapy at home. She is unable to walk or sit and is therefore unable to work.
Despite all of her numerous misfortunes, starting with the horrific car accident in 1988, whether it is battling breast cancer, kidney failure, or dealing with several bouts of pneumonia, Lydia has never asked anyone for help and has been able to overcome her obstacles on her own. Through it all, Lydia has never lost her faith in God who has always seen her through her difficulties. At the same time she has been most generous to people who needed financial assistance.
This time, however, as her close friend, I can testify that she is not going to make it on her own as she is quickly falling behind on her various payments. Since her latest accident, she has not been able to work and her exorbitant medical bills, as well as the bills for day-to-day expenses, have been mounting daily.
Unless we all help her financially, she is unable to meet her expenses and care for her elderly mother.
Will you please join me in helping Lydia get over this yet another difficult time in her life?
Your prayers as well as any financial contributions are urgently needed and greatly appreciated.
