Lydia's Broken heart

Hello, we are the Mumby/Donnor family we have set up this gofundme page in order to help Nat (mum) and Russ (dad) cover costs for things such as travel costs, food expenses as well as things for our beautiful brave girl Lydia.

Lydia's story!

Lydia was born in 2009 with Dilated Cardiomyopathy for the last 15 year's this has caused her no problems and she has led a happy healthy life.

Up until a month ago when Lydia's health started to decline rapidity with multiple doctors and hospital visits we found out she had gone into heart failure. She was moved from Glenfield Hospital, to The Royal Papworth Hospital in Cambridge where a few hours after we got here her heart function was down to 5% and needed an emergency operation to go on a machine similar to a heart bypass machine and now she awaits a heart transplant. This in its self can take weeks or months. While we will do everything for her there are alot of added expenses and things Lydia would like to pass her time as she isn't allowed to leave the Critical Care unit.
