Hello my name is Lydia Stobie-Owen and I am a 26 year old performer from Somerset who is currently based in London. I graduated from The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in 2023 after studying a Batchelors of Acting. I love to perform and have been luckily to receive offers from top schools to study in September however, the SFE loan is not enough to cover tuition let alone my living fees such as rent, bills and food so I am asking for support to achieve this dream. I am applying for scholarships and bursaries alongside this. I am currently in a situation where I cannot ask my family for help after my dad passed away from his battle COPD and life has been very tough mentally and financially since. My dad and my mum were my biggest fans coming to all my shows and concerts and I know my dad would be proud of me pursuing my dreams so hoping I can raise enough to be able to study.
