Lydia Martinez

On Saturday January 7th our loving mother was granted her angle wings after battling several types of cancer. Within two months Lydia was diagnosed with bile duck cancer and then additional tumors in her brain. Lydia Martinez was born in Puerto Rico and came to New York for a better life. Lydia has a total of 8 children and 20 grandchildren. Lydia had a heart of pure gold and would do anything for her children and grand children. Not only would she do for them but for friends and strangers as well. If Lydia had five dollars in her pocket should would give it to you without any hesitation. Her heart was so big and her love was so strong that it will be greatly missed with her family , friends and the community. Our light in our hearts got a little dimmer that day. We know she would not want us crying as she is no longer suffering from the pain but we miss her smile, love and  presence. If you are able to donate something we appreciate your generousity and if you are not able please share this account so that maybe someone else can.
