Lydia & Marcus London to Brighton cycle for Fatz Foundation
On 15 September we are cycling 55 miles from London to Brighton to raise money for Fatz Foundation, a registered charity focused on providing educational and school supplies for the 420 pupils of St Michael’s school in Ibokun village, Osun State in Nigeria.
The children of St Michael’s school and their parents live in abject poverty with limited access to water and electricity. As parents are engaged in informal labour with very little income, some children have to go without education simply because parents can’t afford uniforms or school supplies.
Help us to improve the school experience for children and teachers in St Michael’s by donating what you can. Your money can make a real difference in the village of Ibokun:
£10 can provide a child’s textbooks for the school year
£15 can provide four months of sanitary products for girls
£20 can provide uniforms for two children
£30 can provide a schoolbag, school books, a football and pens and pencils for a child for a year
£50 can provide educational games for seven classrooms
Fatz Foundation and the children and teachers of St Michael’s greatly appreciate any support you can give to help the local community in Ibokun. Thank you!
