Hello my name is Lydia Joyner. Thank you for taking the time to watch my campaign and read my post. I put together video's and files of my journey from foster care until now to tell the story of my campaign for education.
I am a former foster that did not get the rights of educational help due to a failed adoption that left me homeless while attending high school that was never reported. Times have changed and I now have paperwork to prove my story! I have been accepted into Valencia college in Orlando, Florida and am so excited!!!
I have always wanted to be a professor and with your help you can get my feet in the door towards an education. I could not read or write until the third grade and have come so far. By you supporting me I will be able to get what I need in starting my first semester including books and supplies.
I will never give up mentoring, collaborating and teaching children to adults in making a difference in their lives one moment at a time because I know the outcome when helped.
I also will be able to stand strong on my own two feet with a career that will sustain me giving my two beautiful children Rowan and Julian a more secure future.
