Lydia is an amazing coworker, friend, and nurse and will always go out of her way to help anyone. On September 3rd, Lydia was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma aka breast cancer. Lydia is an oncology nurse and never imagined herself with this diagnosis at only 28 years old. A few months ago, she felt a tiny lump and went to get an ultrasound (thinking it was just a cyst) which quickly turned into a same day mammogram and biopsy the following day. Lydia recently recovered from a double mastectomy and unfortunately will have to start chemotherapy very soon. She’s had to take a lot of time off work with numerous doctors appointments, her surgery/recovery and now her upcoming chemo treatments. This has been a really difficult time for Lydia and her family and we are hoping to help ease the financial burden for her. Any donations are greatly appreciated.
