The Shiloh Apostolic Church Living Word Center New Jersey was started sixteen years ago. We are a growing congregation located at 627 Orange Street in Newark NJ. Over the past 16 years we have impacted the East Orange and Newark community through outreach programs, (such as yearly community Thanksgiving Dinners, health fairs and pantry services) as well as ministering the Word through our evangelical services, bible studies and tract ministries.

For the past five (5) years we have rented premises at our current location. However, we have now outgrown that facility and is looking to move into our own church building. This building at 413-427 South 17th Street in Newark was purchased in May of 2014. This was formerly a community school that had fallen into dis-repair and needs extensive work to be remodeled into the church sanctuary.

At present most of the funds we have saved through many fundraising activities (donations from congregants, tithes, fish fry, yard sales, banquets) have been depleted in our down payments and getting the necessary approvals for change of use (lawyers’ fees, architecture, engineers). We have engaged the services of a contractor to start the construction at our new property and need to find $350,000 to have the construction completed.
