Three houses were lost to a swift, violent and tragic fire Monday night.
Twelve people; Three families lost their homes.
Three children under 15 years old, one special needs; lost their books, their toys and their pets. Five treasured and beloved animals perished in the blaze.
These people; grandparents, children, retirees and their caregivers. Including an honorably discharged Marine Corp Veteran and his autistic grandchild. Now all without homes and with nowhere else to go.
These are good people of limited means who face the challenge of finding new and safe places to reside, replacing vehicles, clothing and household goods. Obtaining prescription medicines and other immediate medical treatments and needs.
