Let me tell you about my amazing mom, Luz Mercedes Peña, affectionately known as "TaTa" to friends and family. She passed away on July 23rd, 2025, at her Manassas, VA home, surrounded by loved ones. Luz was a beacon of light, inspiring everyone she met with her zest for life. Her passions for dance, gardening, and cooking were contagious, and her generosity in sharing these gifts with others was a testament to her kind heart.
