Hello,
My name is Jay and I have been so incredibly lucky to have been able to adopt this sweet sweet girl and care for her. What started as a bumpy road with a new puppy has quickly turned into a fairly serious situation with her health.
I was told she had bladder stones and tried a special diet for months until I raised enough money for surgery by selling most of what I had owned. It was completely worth it.
Unfortunately, surgery never happened and they found it wasn't bladder stones but a sobering call telling me how serious her situation has become.
When Lux was spayed, they realized she only had one kidney. Turns out, that's most likely not the only defect. The vets talk to me in a manner that hits home. They have no idea what is going on and you can hear it in the empathy they have when talking to me.
I thought I had plenty of time to save more money but I've been made aware, Lux may not have time on her side.
All I wanted was to see her truly happy, without whimpering when she pees. But I don't have the resources to make this happen in time.
If I can't raise the money, I am totally open to someone adopting her if they can help.
Yes, it will hurt. Probably break my heart.
But if she is alive and happy, I will let her go.
I've never done this before and not really sure what I'm doing but if it will help Lux, then I will do it.
Thank you to anyone and everyone that might see this and decide to help.
We will be eternally grateful ❤️
