Lux Singers-Germany & Austria

Somehow I made it into this amazing choir called Lux! It's been quite some time since I used my voice, and I want to return to using this gift to spread love and joy! Lux Singer's strives to bring light to the world through many kinds of sacred music, and wants to create a place where all feel welcome.

Next spring they happen to be planning one big tour instead of their usual nearer destinations. I'm thrilled to be part of this choir no matter where we sing, and thought I would simply take a shot at maybe also being able to sing overseas! If you contribute to this gofundme, your donation will be going towards plane tickets, travel costs, food & hotel, even the cost of a passport because I'm (cough) how old and I've never had a passport before. This trip would be full of so many firsts for me!

I want to give back too - if we live near each other, I'd be more than happy to come sing for you, sing at your church, or to exchange baked goods, or help out in other ways (I'm quite good at painting a room haha). I realize there are many wonderful causes out there, and I'm incredibly grateful for my life as it is. But I also deeply appreciate the opportunity to be in this choir, and to hopefully join this trip. The choir will be performing at Thomaskirche in Leipzig, the St Nikolai Church in Leipzig, the Minoritenkirche in Vienna, and St Stephan's Cathedral in Vienna! Places where amazing people like Bach worked, where Beethoven confessed his deafness, and many of history's greatest musicians brought joy and light to generations of people, as music continues to be an international language of the heart.
