We’re thrilled to share that Luton Jets is soaring to new heights! Our basketball team has earned a spot in the National Basketball League, England’s biggest basketball league, continuing our legacy of sending players to top academies each year. Our football team is also stepping up, joining the prestigious FA Chiltern League. Based in Luton’s most deprived areas—Lewsey Farm, Marsh Farm, and Farley Hill—we transform lives through sports, mentoring, and community programs despite high crime (Lewsey Farm: 124 crimes, Marsh Farm: 83 crimes, April 2019) and poverty (30% of pupils on free school meals). Leagrave, near Lewsey Farm, ranks 4th in Luton for crime risk (IMD 2019). We support vulnerable children with SEND, Pupil Premium, and those at risk of exclusion, while empowering college youth as coaches and referees, funded by local grants. Our guest speakers, former pro athletes, inspire, and we teach diet and life skills to build resilience. We mentor at schools like Bedford Free School, reducing youth offending by 46% and boosting engagement by 30%.
