After 17 years of hardship in the wilderness, God has finally blessed River of Life Lutheran Church (LCMS) with a permanent building, originally built as a house of worship for the Methodist Channahon in 1926.
Despite having already made a bunch of improvements, our small group of saints still has some renovations to do in the new sacred space. We need to refinish the floors, make the communion rail kneeling-friendly, tear out the carpet, probably explode a wall, and make some other repairs, and we could use your help!
Donations of any and every size are greatly appreciated! But to make things a bit more fun, for every donation of $50 or more, I, Pastor Hans Fiene, will send you a personalized ringtone of Donall and Conall yelling at you to pick up your phone. (I'll even incorporate a couple biographical details in their rantings, if you give them to me.)
