As is tradition, Lancaster University Tennis Club will be running a joint charity initiative in the form of a “Tennisathon” on Saturday, the 7th of March, in support of the Unibufu Foundation and the Sunflower Charity. Part of the money raised will be used to fund language services, with the overall aim of establishing a long-term relationship between the Unibufu Foundation and Lancaster University. The remaining funds will be sent to the Manchester Sunflower Charity, which will use them to deliver humanitarian aid and support to Ukraine. The event will involve the entire team playing 12 hours of continuous tennis to raise money. This is a small way for the club to make a positive difference to charities seeking to address ongoing problems. Any donation would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

The total funds will be allocated transparently as follows: 35% to the Unibufu Foundation, 35% to the Sunflower Charity, and 30% to the club. The 30% for the Club will be used to cover the operational costs of delivering the event, primarily court hire expenses.
