For the past 63 years we’ve had to pleasure to have a true angel walk this earth, my mother Lupe Lucero. She is a daughter, sister, mother, cousin, aunt, godmother, friend, instructor, co-worker, and a team mate. We can go on and on explaining the amount of love she has for her family and friends, always being our biggest support system. Not to mention the dedication she has for her students at Austin High School and her drivers ed students. Everyone knew how amazing of a person she is. Helping everyone in a blink of an eye without hesitation. When we first found out about her cancer, we knew that the strongest woman I know was going to fight this out till the end, no matter what the outcome was going to be. This is exactly what she is continuing to do, fighting! At the moment she is finally at home resting with her family and friends. Unfortunately, we were not as prepared as we should have been for the expenses that we were going to accumulate as this cancer overtook my mother very fast and very aggressive. On behalf of myself and the rest of family we appreciate from the very bottom of our hearts any and all help we can get during this difficult time. I can speak on behalf of my mother, knowing for a fact she would have a smile from ear to ear seeing the love and support she has from each and every one of ya’ll. Thank you from the Lucero family.
