Grandma, Lupe, Mom, Lupita, and GG are all names for this remarkable woman. The Reyes family lost a pillar this week, and we are heartbroken. She meant so many things to us and, for me, has instilled values in me I follow to this day. I’ve always struggled with asking for help, and today is no exception.

My family and I need help! Expenses for my grandmother’s funeral are purely out of pocket, and we, as a family, will struggle with the costs. This expense comes a little more than a year after covering expenses out of pocket for my uncle. I had hoped I would be in a much better position to cover all the costs, but I cannot make that happen. I am asking for help to give her the memorial she deserved for the wonderful woman she was to others and our family.

Any little bit will help and is appreciated during this overwhelming, stressful time. I also promise to pay it forward to others and the community with interest in her honor for everything given to my family and me.
