Mi nombre es Ana Benítez y le escribo en nombre de la familia Benítez.  Mi familia decidió crear este Gofund en nombre de mi tía Lupe y tío Beto y su hijo Roberto Jr. El miércoles 3 de noviembre mi tía Lupe ingresó al hospital con COVID.  Ella está en condiciones críticas y estamos orando por un milagro.  Solo Dios sabe si la dejará quedarse con nosotros.  Su médico nos dijo que sus niveles de oxígeno son muy bajos y se descubrió que uno de sus pulmones colapsó.  Debido a la gravedad de sus síntomas, mi tía Lupe fue intubada el 12 de noviembre. El sábado 13 de noviembre, nos dijeron que mi tía tiene un 50/50 de posibilidades de sobrevivir.

 Mi tío Beto también fue ingresado en el hospital por enfermedades médicas esa misma noche.  Muchos de ustedes probablemente estarán preguntando qué está pasando con mi tío, pero es muy delicado y preferimos no decir exactamente lo que está pasando, esperamos que todos lo entiendan. 

 Mi tío Beto y tía Lupe han dejado a su único hijo, Roberto, en manos de una de mis tías.  No estamos seguros de cuánto tiempo estará mi tío en el hospital o si mi tía lo logrará.  El último mensaje de texto que envió mi tía antes de intubar fue un mensaje a la hermana de mi tío Beto que decía: "Ahi te encargo a mi nene".

 Además de las hospitalizaciones, nuestra familia está luchando para llegar encontrar fondos y poder ayudar a mi tío con sus gastos.  Aunque el seguro médico de emergencia cubre el costo de la estadía de mi tía en el hospital, necesitamos ayuda para conseguir fondos para todos sus gastos de mis tíos y primo.  Nunca es fácil pedir ayuda, pero me dirijo a todos ustedes en nombre de nuestra familia.  Según el banco de nuestra familia, necesitamos aproximadamente $50,000 para mantener a la familia Lupe y Robertos a lo largo del tiempo.

Todos los fondos serán administrados por la hermana de mi tío.  Aunque no sabemos cuándo se despertará mi tía o si se despertará, nos estamos preparando para un funeral o para la atención que necesitará después de salir del hospital.  No sabemos cuáles serán sus condiciones si Dios decide que se quede con nosotros.  Todo el dinero se destinará a su familia de tres.

 Gracias por toda la generosidad que cada uno de ustedes tiene y está brindando para ayudar y apoyar a nuestra familia.  Cualquier cantidad que nos pueda dar contribuirá enormemente a la tranquilidad de mi tia Lupe y tio Roberto durante este momento difícil.

My name is Ana Benítez and I am writing to you on behalf of the Benítez family.  My family decided to create this Gofund on behalf of my aunt Lupe and uncle Beto and his 16 year old son, Roberto Jr. On Wednesday, November 3, my aunt Lupe entered the hospital with COVID.  She is in critical condition and we are praying for a miracle.  Only God knows if he will let her stay with us.  Her doctor told us that her oxygen levels are very low and it was discovered that one of her lungs collapsed.  Due to the severity of her symptoms, my aunt Lupe was intubated on November 12.  On Saturday, November 13, we were told that my aunt has a 50/50 chance of survival.

  My uncle Beto was also admitted to the hospital for medical illnesses that same night.  Many of you are probably asking what is happening with my uncle, but it is very delicate and we prefer not to say exactly what is happening, we hope that everyone understands.

  My uncle Beto and Aunt Lupe have left their only son, Roberto, in the hands of one of my aunts.  We are not sure how long my uncle will be in the hospital or if my aunt will make it.  The last text message my aunt sent before she intubated was a message to my uncle Beto's sister saying: "Ahi te encargo a mi nene” 

  In addition to the hospitalizations, our family is struggling to find funds to help my uncle with his expenses.  Although emergency medical insurance covers the cost of my aunt's hospital stay, we need help in raising funds for all their expenses.  Asking for help is never easy, but I speak to all of you on behalf of our family.  According to our family's bank, we need approximately $50,000 to support their family over time.

 All funds will be managed by my uncle's sister.  Although we do not know when my aunt will wake up or if she will wake up, we are preparing for a funeral or for the care she will need after leaving the hospital.  We do not know what her conditions will be if God decides to have her stay with us.  All the money will go to his family of three.
