12/10/2020...
It is with great heartache that I share our Beautiful Mother Linda has passed on to be with Jesus last night, Wed. Dec. 9th at 9:52pm. This is not the outcome we expected and are in great disbelief. She passed peacefully with her family by her side.
We appreciate everyone's kindness, prayers and generosity towards Linda's recovery fund. We are now going to use it for Linda's Memorial
expenses and are so very thankful to have this support at this time.
Much love to everyone and God Bless.
Since Linda’s hospitalization she has had 2 donor matches however both donor lungs ended up not being healthy enough for transplant.
Linda's been fighting hard the last couple days with phlegm and blood getting lodged in the tracheotomy breathing tube which we are told is normal but it’s causing drops in her oxygen stats and a point where she had only 70% range for a sustained amount of time.
As of yesterday she is now heavily sedated but not under under. She is sedated but can respond if needed but can’t hold any conversation or mental stimulus- this is giving her 98-99% ox sats which is good. It’s all about keeping her Oxygen high until a viable offering shows up.
We are comforted by the nurse Jen( she is amazing) that what is happening with linda is very typical occurrence when trying to get someone to transplant. And there are some dyer procedures that she isn’t even close to... so it’s all about God doing his thing in his perfect timing. Now Linda is pretty knocked out , communication with her is even more limited so We have to talk through the staff to check in. We tell her all the time that there is an army praying for her across this nation and at home. God is driving this thing and his timing and resolve is perfect.
Please continue to pray and pass along her GoFundMe as we are just shy of our goal. We appreciate everyone who has donated and is praying. Thank you.
My mother-in-law Linda Faivre is one of the most loving, caring and giving people I’ve ever been blessed to know. In January 2018 she was diagnosed with Interstitial Pneumonia with Autoimmune Features.
Linda is currently at UCSF awaiting a lung transplant. 2 weeks post transplant she & her granddaughter needs to stay within 30 miles of UCSF hospital for 6 weeks.
We would really like to be able to get her a place in San Francisco hopefully close to the hospital where over the 6 week stay she will have numerous doctor appointments to attend and will be using Uber as transportation.
Any monetary amount would be appreciated but even more prayers and shares.
Thank you!
