My name is Maelani and I have created this gofundme fundraiser for my father, Matthew Terlaje, who is in critical condition at GMH. On Monday, August 29th, my dad was admitted to the hospital and was advised by his doctors that he is diagnosed with lung disease. This condition has brought a heavy weight on my family and especially my dad.

We were informed by the hardworking doctors and nurses at GMH that my dad will need to undergo surgery as soon as possible. This surgery requires him to travel off-island to obtain a lung transplant.

To everyone, Matthew Terlaje is a police officer, a husband, a friend, a brother, and the best dad I can ever ask for. He is a fighter and with the obstacles he faces, he still remains stronger than ever.

With the heaviest of hearts, we kindly ask for your love, prayers, and donation in helping my dad and family in giving him the necessary care he deserves.
