If you know me, you probably know my dog Luna. She is that wonderful little dog who's always full of energy. Despite her rough puppyhood (she is a rescue baby), Luna is a kind soul and is always happy to see everyone. Sadly, she has to undergo surgery and really needs your help.

Last month, Luna was diagnosed with an ACL/CCL tear and the surgeon said we would need to have both of her knees operated on. The estimated quote for TPLO surgery that was given to us is almost 8K USD per leg. And we need freaking two! It also came very unexpectedly, and I am totally unprepared financially for such a big expense. I mean, who would have so much money on such short notice, right?

I am trying to shop around and see what other clinics, including the ones in the neighboring states, can offer, but so far I have not seen anything cheaper than 5K per leg. I am considering taking her outside the country too and am looking for various options, but regardless of the outcome, that would mean significant financial costs, which I am totally unprepared for right now.

I feel really weird about doing a GoFundMe and very embarrassed asking people for help, but I also feel like I am failing my dog so I have to do whatever it takes to give her a surgery so she could walk pain-free. Both Luna and I will appreciate any kind of help and will be forever grateful for your kindness.
