Luna's Surgery Fund: A Chance for Healing

My dog Luna tore her ACL in her knee. The X-rays cost me $1,000 with the anesthesia, when I got the diagnosis from the X-rays. I was heartbroken. Luna is my family. I live by myself, and she is always by my side.

When the vet told me that the modern surgery, which is a plate to hold the joint, has the best outcome but costs $8,000-$10,000, I explained there is no way I can do that. He told me there is a less expensive surgery option for $3,200 for the lateral sutures to hold the knee in place, but it was explained that there is no guarantee how long the less expensive surgery would last. My Luna is only 4 years old, and I would like to do the best I can to preserve her quality of life and living.
