Here’s the story:
I rescued Luna off the street back in ‘22. She’s been by my side ever since. She became my world when I had nothing and continues to be my world. We’ve been living in Texas together since ‘22. We were planning to move with my mom in Maryland on the 26th of Nov. she had an appointment for a spay on the 18th of Nov at the Texas Coalition of Animal Protection (TCAP). I told myself “why not” since TCAP does spays for cheap. Unfortunately the spay ended up going horrible wrong. I brought her home on day 1 after getting spayed and by the next day, she couldn’t use her hind legs. So I brought her to the VET ER called “The Parc” they told me that all 3 sutures from the spay were loose (both ovaries and uterus) so she was bleeding internally and had to have emergency surgery. There was a 50/50 chance she was going to make it. She made it out of surgery but is now fighting for her life in recovery. Her blood platelets are not working and her blood isn’t maintaining. The ER said that they’ll do a blood transfusion but that’s as far as they can continue without payment.
Since TCAP messed up, they agreed to help pay but they won’t pay them directly, they will “reimburse” me after I pay myself. The entire bill is $6000. Neither me or my family can pay that today and we all got denied from “Credit Care” we can’t get loans. So now I’m at my last resort in using Go Fund me. I don’t want to let Luna die, she is my world and she means everything to me. She’s my child and I can’t handle her dying so early. She’s only 4! She has so much life to live. She’s the sweetest and most loyal dog in the world and deserves to live a long life. I regret getting her spayed because I usually listen to my gut, and my gut told me that day not to do it but I did it anyway and now she is dying. This is all my fault, my guilt is so heavy right now. I just really want my baby to come home safe and sound so if anybody can help with anything, please help. If you’d rather send money to “The Parc” directly I’ll put the info down below. Please help my baby make it home.
