Dear Friends and Family,
I am thrilled to be going on the biggest adventure of my life this summer, to study in Mexico for four weeks! I have applied and been accepted to an international study abroad program in Guanajuato, with an NGO called CIEE. I have received a partial scholarship for my academics, but I need to raise an additional $3200 by April 10th to cover the rest of my travel costs and program fees.
Guanajuato is in Central Mexico. I will get to stay with a local family and practice my Spanish. I will also be taking Spanish language classes, as well as other classes in Mexican culture and history. I will earn two college credits for my language classes! In addition, I will get to make side trips with fellow students to see some other sites.
This is my first time traveling without my family. I am really excited about it. I would love your support in making this happen. Contributions of ANY amount are greatly appreciated! Thank you soooo much.
