Hello! My name is Roy and I am Luna's great grandpa. Our sweet Luna was born with Down's syndrome and has had to deal with the many issues associated with that malady. Now, at the sweet age of 8 years, she had to be rushed to McMaster Children's Hospital by Orange Air Ambulance. Her mom Sara said she was told that both of Luna's lungs had collapsed.

She has already been there for two weeks but is looking at another several before she can come home. Sara hasn't worked since and will not return for quite some time. Times were tough before but now with only Matt working, bills are mounting. As well there are so many others costs incurred and will continue. Sara and Matt are faced with costs like continued care when Luna comes home as well as the probability of specialized medical equipment.

So on their behalf, My wife Gwen and I, are reaching out for friends, family, and others to provide some financial assistance to assist Luna and her family. Thanks, and love to all.
