I've never done this before, nor do I like asking for help.

This is Luna. She's only 8 years old. She has seizures and is being treated to control them. She happily does a little dance for her cheese ball with pill. She gently takes it from my hand a chews slowly to saver her cheese. I think I maybe forgot to give her morning pill, so it's my fault she seized. During her seizure, I was trying to gently lay her down on the floor, but in the process of pulling her out of the covers where she was in my lap, she accidentally grabbed a chunk of my stomach and was clamping down. I tried my best to gently get her off, but there was a pop. Now, I wish I had just let her bite me because of her poor teeth; I broke her bottom jaw. I feel horrible. My vet recommended a dental specialist in Nashville that quoted me between $5,000 to $8,000 to fix her jaw. I wasn't expecting such a high amount. Being disabled, my dogs are my world; they are always there for me. I try my best to be there for them. Luna has a will to live; she eagerly eats her soup mush food with crushed pills for her seizures and pain. She can't close her mouth. She does some drooling. My main concern is her pain. Her cry is so pitiful when she bumps her jaw or moves it wrong. We could use all the help we can get. We are not worried about cosmetics; we just want her to be comfortable.
