Luna, my six-year-old dog, has been through a lot with me, from supporting me during my cancer treatment to being my constant companion as a disabled Marine Corps veteran. This past summer, she underwent hip replacement surgery, and just when she started enjoying some warm weather playtime, she ruptured her CCL. Luna is full of energy and love, and she deserves the best care possible. However, as a fixed-income military veteran, unexpected medical expenses like these are challenging to manage. Luna is not just a pet; she is family, and she means the world to me. Now that I am cancer-free, I am determined to provide her with the care she needs. Any support towards Luna's medical expenses would be immensely appreciated, ensuring that she can continue to be by my side, offering love, comfort, and companionship. Thank you for considering helping us in this journey.
We scheduled Luna surgery for March 7, 2024. And all funds gathered will go towards Luna surgery, expenses, medication, follow-up visits, her very important, Probably the most important her follow up care and physical therapy.
Recovery is 8 to 12 weeks of almost no activity only to go outside for bathroom breaks and then there will be months of therapy afterwards.
Luna and I appreciate any and all donations to go towards her care. Thank you and God bless.
