Luna’s Cranial Helmet

As you all know, Luna is a twin. Due to the small amount of room in the womb, it caused her to have plagiocephaly(a flat head). Due to the severity of it, the treatment recommended would be to get a Doc Band(cranial helmet) to help her head round out. It was advised due to the fact that it could affect her hers are not aligned and neither are her eyes. If not fixed, it can cause issues later on in adulthood. We have tried everything to fix it including physical therapy for the last 4 months and repositioning her head to prevent her from being on her flat spot but nothing has worked so this is our last option. The cost is 1800 and that includes all the visits, scans, and the helmet itself along with the upkeep of it. Our insurance will not cover it due to the fact that she hasn’t had surgery. Anything helps!
