Luna requires further investigations for her health issues

Luna my eldest who will be 12 in Nov has been having some health issues lately.

It all started last year in 2024 when she developed crystals in her urine. Our Vet advised us to start her on Royal Canin urinary s/o food, which we did. Luna absolutely loved the food and couldn't get enough of it but every now and then she would vomit it back up. We thought she was eating her food too fast or gulping in air as she was eating.

So we bought raised bowls & tried her on slow feeders but neither of these worked.

The vomiting started to become worse and she was vomiting after every meal she ate. We spoke to our vet asking if we could try sort her off the s/o food but they advised us not too and said to try other brands. We took their advice but she still continued to vomit. We took her back to the vet for an examination and for blood tests. Her bloods all came back good and their was no sign of pain or discomfort when completing an examination. The vet suggested we try Omeprazole for acid reflux. So we tried Luna on omeprazole as advised and this worked for 5 days. She was able to eat without vomiting. After 5 days it all started again and we are back to square one. She is now refusing food. I have spoken to the vet today and they have now suggested that she needs image screening.

This is why I am setting up this gofund me for help towards the cost of the image screening plus nything else that she may need.

The consultation alone at a specialist Vet is £318.

I want to try everything I can for her as I don't want to lose her or have to make the decision to pts when she is stilll happy and playing.

It's the last thing I want to do asking for help towards vet bills but we will appreciate anything that anyone can donate towards the vet bills and I thank you all in advance.
