Hi everyone,
We have met and surpassed our goal. But that doesn’t mean it has stopped there! Luna still has one more surgery to go. Please see the latest update from her parents below:
Update 6/10/18: From Luna’s parents:
Today we would like to ask for more prayers...this week on Thursday Luna is having her surgery to put her frontal bone back in place...this will be almost the end of this difficult time that we never thought we would have ... She is the strongest little girl we know and now our hero and role model...every time we look in to her eyes we remember how fragile, short, unexpected and beautiful life is....Please please keep her in your thoughts and in your prayers....She needs lots of them!
Update 5/18/18: Luna is finally home! She has to go back in one to two weeks for her final surgery and then she can focus on her recovery. She is a warrior!
Luna está feliz en su casa. Tiene que regresar en una a dos semanas pues le queda pendiente una cirugía y después solo recuperación. Todo esta saliendo muy bien. ¡Es una guerrera!
Update 5/8/18: MRI shows everything went well. However, more testing to be done to make sure there are no more AVMs (anteriovenous malformation) present. She is making great progress. The road ahead is still long so please continue to have her in your prayers. If possible, please donate and share this link.
Please know her family is grateful!!! #LunaStrong
Update: Luna's breathing tube was removed and doctors said the tests show that her AVM (anteriovenous malformation) was completely removed! There is still a long road ahead. Please continue praying for our little warrior. If possible, please donate and share this link. GO LUNA!!!
Luna is a sweet little seven year-old bunny-loving girl who also happens to be a warrior! She suffered an unexpected convulsion and ended up having emergency surgery due to an aneurysm on 4/27/18. This was a life saving surgery! However, Luna needed a second surgery on 4/29/18 to fix the root of the problem. This brave girl has had two brain surgeries within 3 days! At this point, she is currently recovering and making slow progress. While her prognosis is still unknown, we would like to provide some financial relief for the medical bills they have and will continue to incur or for anything else Luna and her family may need as they go through this process. We would appreciate any financial contribution you may be able to help with, but above all, her family is asking that you lift her in your prayers. She is an amazing little girl who is loved by her parents, twin sister, all other family members and friends near and far
