Luna Laguna Road to Recovery
Donation protected
This page is devoted to Luna and her recovery. Luna is a Papillon, Jack Russel Mix, Luna was adopted on 10/30/2018. Luna was a gift from my parents and she was rescued after having a history of abuse as a puppy, Thank you BOYS and GIRLS CLUB for saving her originally ❤️. On April 4/10/2021 Luna was brutally attacked at the Irvine Spectrum for 2 to 3 mins by a Pitbull. Luna was being thrashed around and my husband fought to save her. My husband and a group of random strangers were able to save Luna. Sadly, Luna has faced a ton of trauma. She is currently dealing with a compound fracture on her right leg and a fractured jaw. Luna has gone through one surgery and is stable. Currently the doctor is stating that the best option for Luna may be amputation of her right leg. We do not care about Luna’s appearance, we just want her to have the happy life she deserves. The purpose of this page is to follow her recovery and to bring awareness. Thank you all for your love and support. Please continue to pray for our Luna.
***We have no idea how much the amputation/repair may cost, also we have no idea how much her jaw repair will be until 4/14. We are just anticipating the amount for possible therapy, soft foods, new bedding, etc. Thank you for all your love and support towards our sweet girl ❤️
***Update as of 4/14 Luna’s leg will be amputated. After that point we may look into a prosthetic leg for her depending on how she does as a tri pod dog.
