My dog Luna is a bright yellow smiley face bounding down the desert driveway to greet everyone she sees. Luna loves everyone and everyone loves Luna. She wags her tail and her entire body wags, and she's always wagging her tail. The happy dog. That's what everyone says about her. Her entire purpose for living is to play. Run as fast she can til she's out of breath and bring her toy to you . Known as the toy burglar, Luna is the keeper of all toys and has been frequently found sound asleep after a night of toy collecting with everyone's toys circled all around her. So those mornings you'll hear a lot of kids saying, "Hey Luna, that's my stuffed snake, plushy, or doll." That's ok. She'll be out toy collecting again soon as everyone goes to sleep.

She came to me soaking wet on a cold December day. , shivering they bathed her and didn't dry her or even put one in the carrier they handed me and quickly shut their door . Luna's got a deformed leg from suspected abuse that healed that way. And she foraged for food. I got her at about 8 mos old . That's her past. Now she's the happy dog . All the time every day . People call her that. The happy dog. . And she adores her cat. Here they have the whole ranch to run around on, and Luna and her cat play tag full speed ahead. The cat climbs the wood fencepost, waits till Luna runs past him, ambushes her. and now he is chasing her instead. It's hysterical. And that is my Luna all the time. She runs Superdog speed, ears and cheeks and fur pressed back and flapping from her speedy breeze. Luna loves everyone and everyone loves Luna. She won't let you not be happy like her.

My dog Luna is a celebration of living, freedom, and play. You can't help but feel it, and she needs your help now before it's too late because Luna has a mammary tumor I discovered three weeks ago and I don't have the means for the medical intervention that will remove the tumor and let Luna continue being the smile she brings to everyone she meets. She's just 3 1/2 years old and she's been spayed since shortly after I got her. But she's got a lump that appears to be a mammary tumor. Just the one, and if removed quick enough, she'll be happily bounding down the driveway to greet whoever she sees in no time. But I don't have money to get her to the vet and get it removed. She has her shots, she eats fresh chicken, she's got her own bed, several cold weather parkas and sweaters, two different style Coyote vests, and her own dog car seat for her safe travel. But I need help getting her to the vet to get her this treatment she needs . I've tried every path to help her myself, and that's why I'm asking friends, family, strangers, any veterinarian I can drive to who might be willing to work with me making payments... . Luna brings happiness everywhere she goes. Where there's a will, there's a way to help her. Thank you doesn't come close to the appreciation I feel . She'd tell you herself in a three-minute dog conversation; she talks all the time. My friend Liberty likes to argue with her. Luna is the biggest personality in one small happy dog. We just saved a lizard the cat brought in. And Luna wants to go back out and play. So that's what I'm gonna go do. won't you pls help me help her?
