Luna Abdallah - Memorial Scholarship Fund

Family, friends, colleagues, and students are devastated. Luna's sudden passing Friday, November 25, 2022, has left us reeling. Luna's passion for public education and social justice were the main drivers throughout her personal and professional life. She left a researcher position at UCSF to dedicate herself to the pre-med program at SFSU, where efforts are made to provide access to med school for the underserved and underprivileged through scholarships.

In lieu of flowers, please consider giving the equivalent to this fund. The entire amount will go to Luna's program and be dedicated to scholarships administered by Luna's colleagues. We will update this page with the results of this initiative.

The flooding of love and support so far from everyone has been heartwarming. Be assured that these are helping the family tremendously to go through this painful period.
