Hey friends! I want to introduce you to The Luminescence Band.  We are a new Contemporary Worship band, and we are in the process of making our first EP. The name Luminescence comes from John 8:12, which says, “When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”” We have encountered this light for ourselves, and we want to spread it through the music God has given us!
Our mission statement is this: to draw people to the heart of God, make disciples, and to bring them into His freedom through music. 
The Luminescence Band consists of Arielle Bustin (lead vocalist and acoustic guitarist), Taron Church (drummer and producer), Ruth Tjakra (vocalist and pianist), and Kelsey Retich (bassist). We are super excited to begin this journey, and we are in the process of writing and recording songs. We are making an EP with 5 songs which we are then planning on sending to record labels and booking agencies. The money we are fundraising will go toward making the EP itself ($3000), flying band members from CA to CO for recording, and equipment needed (guitar amps, microphones, etc.).
