On June 3, 2019 Shannon “Lulu” Hoffart was diagnosed with
stage 2B cervical cancer. This is her second battle with cancer.
In June 2005 she fought and beat ameloblastoma cancer.
She is currently receiving radiation every day and chemotherapy once a week at Methodist in The Woodlands. She has had many blood transfusions as well. Once this treatment is over, she will start brachytherapy radiation. She will have to travel downtown to the Medical Center for these treatments and insurance will only cover a small portion. We all know how insurance works and the bills will soon start to pile up.
She is not able to work and her husband Kevin has had to take off work to help. They have a son, Jaxsen, that is a Sophomore at Texas State University.
Shannon is always the first to offer help with any of us who are in need! Personally, she has helped me for 13 years in giving back to the kids in our community through scholarships.
PLEASE.... let’s rally together and help HER!! Let’s help make this a little easier for her as the bills start coming in, she travels to and from the Medical Center for treatment and sends Jaxsen back to
Texas State in the Fall.
