Hi everyone. This is my baby girl, Lulu, who I adopted 2 years ago during a very hard time in my life. She has been an absolute menace in my household and enjoys causing all sorts of chaos that I just could not live without. She is a 3.5 year old dilute calico domestic medium hair kitty from Egypt, with so much love for every human she meets (not so much other organisms). I am a graduate student in Toronto and she is my daughter, along with my other (cat) son, Sevro.

The reason I am making this fundraiser is because I recently had to spend a large amount of money on Sevro, who unfortunately has developed feline lower urinary tract disease and will have to be on special food for the rest of his life. He's fine now, and I got most of the money back from pet insurance, but it did chunk my savings quite a lot and I've just recovered from that financially.

Lulu, on the other hand, has grade 3 gingivitis and stomatitis, to the point where she will most likely require a full dental extraction, barring a few teeth that might be able to be saved. This is for her wellbeing and I am committed to spending the money. However, the quote I received for a full extraction is $4,000 (inclusive of medications, anaesthesia, surgery, and tax), and this is going to severely deplete my savings once again, but this will not be recoverable through pet insurance as dental is not covered.

I am hoping that I might be able to get some help funding her surgery so that I don't have to struggle through the next few months! If you are able to donate, I just want to say a heartfelt thank you for helping out my beloved kitty :)
