Hi, we’re Penny and Phil, and we’re reaching out with heavy hearts to save our precious 8-year-old pug, Lulu, who’s fighting for her life. Lulu is our baby girl, the daughter of our first pugs, Louie and Lucy, and the last of our furry family after losing mom and dad to devastating illnesses earlier this year. We’re desperate to save her, but we need your help to cover the mounting costs of her critical care.
Lulu is the sweetest pug, always playing with her toys and bringing joy with her snorts and cuddles. But recently, she started bloating with gas, a painful condition that’s left her unlike herself. After rushing her to the emergency vet, she underwent exploratory surgery to find the cause, but the vets still don’t have answers. Even with a feeding tube, Lulu continues to bloat, and her condition remains a mystery. The next step is a CAT scan to uncover what’s causing her distress, but the costs are overwhelming.
Between the emergency vet stay, surgery, medications, and ongoing care, we’re facing bills of $8,000 and counting, with the CAT scan estimated at $1,500–$2,000 more. Earlier this year, we lost Louie to severe seizures and another Lucy just a week later, draining our savings and leaving us unprepared for this crisis. Lulu is our last dog, our little miracle, and we’ll do anything to save her, but we can’t do it alone.
Your support can give Lulu a fighting chance. Every dollar will go directly to her veterinary care, including the CAT scan and any follow-up treatments. This scan is our best hope to find answers. We promise to keep you updated on Lulu’s journey, sharing her progress and the results of the scan.
Please consider donating, even a small amount, to help us save our baby girl. If you can’t donate, sharing this campaign with friends, family, or pug lovers means the world. Lulu’s playful spirit is still in there, and with your help, we hope to see her wagging her curly tail again soon. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
With gratitude,
Penny, Phil, and Lulu
