This is little Lulu, she is 6 weeks old! She was abandoned, tossed out of a car in a plastic bag of left over fast food! She has a degloved chin where her skin and fur ripped away from her chin, and gums. She also is missing teeth and has a split upper lip! She managed to get out of the plastic bag and was hiding in the tall weeds starving. She came out of the weeds to lick the bowl in the fast food bag and in that brief second cat volunteer Jimmie Hoffman was driving by and got her out of the weeds! He said she was the most pathitic kitten he had ever seen! She was covered in a thousand burrs (as was Jimmie), her eyes were glued shut, she was skin and bone but she had luck in that one second he was driving by! we immediatly bathed her and stated taking off burrs, syringe fed her as she was too weak to eat on her own, gave her fluids, cleaned and medicated her eyes and prayed. on the second day she perked up a little and we called Dr Sheehan a brilliant surgeon to repair her facial injuries. When she is a little stornger and gains a little weight she will have those surgeries. Those repairs to her face, her hospital stay and care will be about $1500. Please help us save the abused, abandoned kitten her miracle. She is so sweet always purring even though she is in alot of pain!
