Hi, my name is kirsty.

My eldest Luke has just turned 18 and has cerebral palsy, epilepsy, hydrocephalus, developmental delay, hemiplegia, is non verbal and a full time wheelchair user.

He is such a happy boy but has really struggled with his seizures over the last 2 years.

I’ve set up this fundraiser to raise much needed funds for a specialist armchair to give Luke a chance to sit in a comfortable, relaxing , but still a chair that will give support to let him rest especially after his bigger seizures (daily)and not just his wheelchair.

Unfortunately what is classed as “comfortable” seating is no longer something that’s funded.

The chair is a tiltrite chair from symmetrikit. We have had a rep come and check the chair would be suitable for Luke and they have done us a quote of £4089 (additional on fundraiser to cover some fees)

This would be something that would last Luke into adulthood.
