Luke’s London Marathon 2025
Donation protected
As a lot of you know I will be running the London Marathon in April 2025, something that has always been on my bucket list to do. After years of being unsuccessful in the ballot I have finally gained a place!
Sadly, in 2015 we lost Clare in her fight against melanoma and I have always said if I got into the London Marathon it would be in her memory and that’s exactly what I will be doing. I am running in Clare’s memory, to help melanoma sufferers and their families and make a valuable contribution to the fight against melanoma. Hopefully I can make her proud!
I will also be running for both the British Heart Foundation and the Alzheimer’s Society, two charities which are also extremely close to me and my family.
Heart and circulatory diseases are the world's biggest killers. That's why the British Heart Foundation exists. By funding research, they can help find treatments and cures that could save lives.
Life doesn't end when dementia begins. The Alzheimer’s Society is here for anyone affected by dementia, and do everything they can to keep people with dementia connected to their lives and the people who matter most.
Any donations would be really appreciated and help these amazing causes continue to do the work they do. I will keep posting updates of my training and time in London as the big day arrives!
