Luke’s Cremation & Funeral
Donation protected
Oh Luke… Luke was as stubborn as a bull and could be meaner than a junk yard dog, but he had a heart of love. He was willing to help someone any second of the day. Whether it was car work, food, or trying to lift their spirits… he would give someone the shirt off his back if it helped. My brother had his difficult days, but those that knew his heart, knew his happiness and joy… his undeniable love for animals and gettin dirty. Whether it was a bike, a dirt bike, an engine, or a bonfire.. he was a dirt dog… an exhaust stack scoundrel. His dogs meant the world to him and that bucket of bolts he called his truck. He loved rock music, but boy did he love his country. He liked tattoos and he loved people who let him be himself.
On Tuesday, November 15th after a long year of ups and downs with his health, Luke was found by our father unresponsive and not breathing. My dad performed CPR while he waited for medics to arrive. Between his home and being at the hospital, Luke’s body put up one hell of a fight but ultimately had to be put on life support. After constant work to keep him stable and multiple tests, the brain functionality we prayed for was not present. My parents and extended family are taking this time to spend their last moments with him, while the rest of us are traveling there in hopes to make it in time to have just a few more minutes with him.
All I ask is to please give us grace and understanding in this time. Everything has happened so quickly that we are still trying to process how this happened and love on him in the time we have left.
Any donation or share will be deeply appreciated. We would really love to have a celebration of life for Luke in his two homes, Las Vegas and West Virginia. We are doing our best right now to make decisions that we know he would want. As we come to decisions, we will update everyone.
Thank you for the love and understanding.
Update: Luke left this Earth on 11/17 at 1:04 PM. He was loved immensely by all of us. We appreciate everyone’s love and patience at this time. His WV Celebration of Life will be at IDC Eatery & Spirits in Parkersburg, WV.
