Hello amazing community -
So many people have reached out and asked for a way to help Luke and his family in his fight against Leukemia.
Luke was diagnosed with Infant Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) on May 30, 2019 at 7 months old. He has spent much of his young life in and out of the hospital for treatment, which includes chemotherapy, as well as numerous surgeries/procedures. Luke has now completed the induction phase of treatment and has moved into long term maintenance, which includes weekly visits to the hospital for the remainder of his 2 1/2 years of treatment. It has been a long and sometimes difficult road, but they know their faith will see them through to the end.
In order to try to give Becky and Nick the ability to put their focus on taking care of their children above everything else during this difficult time, we’ve put together this GoFundMe in an effort to alleviate some of the financial burden they are under. Becky has had to quit her job to care for Luke, so all of this financial burden has fallen on Nick. The Carrillo family is incredibly grateful for all of the love and support everyone has offered during this time. For anyone who wants to help in a tangible way for this lengthy fight to Luke’s recovery, a donation to help keep this family focused on recovery would be an incredible blessing.
