The Ireland family was struck by tragedy, with young Luke suddenly passing away while on a study abroad program in Germany. 

Luke was an awesome young man and living his dream. Even as a child he wanted to go to Europe. He had so much potential and could have achieved great things. Doesn't seem fair but life hands you bad things sometimes. He packed more into his 20 years than many people do in a lifetime.  We will miss him forever.

If you would like to help honor Luke's memory, the family is accepting contributions to a memorial scholarship fund that will be used to make another young person's dream of college come true.
